December 10th, 2016. Undefeated Terence “Bud” Crawford takes on “The Gladiator” John Molina Jr to defend his WBC, WBO & The Ring Super Lightweight Titles.

Prefight records; Crawford 29(20)-0, Molina 29(23)-6.

Going into the bout, the hard hitting Molina had wins over Mickey Bey Jr & Ruslan Provodnikov while Crawford had beaten notable oppositions such as Breidis Prescott, Hank Lundy, Dierry Jean, Thomas Dulorme, Ricky Burns, Yuriorkis Gamboa, Raymundo Beltrán & Viktor Postol.

From the get go, Molina was outclassed and systematically dismantled by Crawford’s pinpoint punching coupled with a superb defense. And ultimately, with some destructive body shots he breaks him down en route to a TKO8 victory.

To his credit, Molina gave his best but Crawford’s elite-level skills proved to be too much for his fighting heart and determination.

After this win, Crawford picked up 2 more wins over Felix Diaz & Julius Indongo before moving up to 147 pounds. In his first fight at Welterweight and the year 2018, he took on reigning WBO World Welterweight Champion Jeff Horn aka “The Hornet” in June 2018.

Horn made headlines back in July 2017 when he scored a shocking (albeit controversial) UD victory over Filipino legend Manny Pacquiao to bag the WBO Crown.

In yet another dominant and one sided bout, Crawford destroys Horn with stings of sharp shots for 9 rounds; stopping the tough Australian World Champion for the first time in his career.

As for July 2018, Terence Crawford remains undefeated with a perfect record of 33(24)-0 and World Champion in 3 weight classes; Lightweight, Light Welterweight & Welterweight.
