Highlights of the amazing tw -round slugfest between the late, legendary Joe Frazier against Mexican heavyweight contender Manuel “Pulgarcito” Ramos.

This was a very underrated fight that took place in 1968, where Frazier made the first defense of his NYSAC World Heavyweight title. Frazier won the title from Buster Mathis Sr. earlier in the year via TKO11 in a tremendous fight.

Manuel Ramos’ career would later suffer after this loss as he racked up consecutive losses after losses before retiring in 1977.

Joe Frazier continued to rack up victories, and also won the vacant WBC and WBA World heavyweight title against Jimmy Ellis in 1970. Frazier had a successful 8 win streak after this title defense, which included the legendary battle against Muhammad Ali in 1971, known as “Fight of the Century”.

In that fight, Frazier defended his WBC and WBA Heavyweight titles for the second time. Ali suffered his first professional defeat against a prime Frazier. Frazier would later lose the title to a prime George Foreman, after suffering six knockdowns in two rounds, in one of the greatest upsets in boxing history.

Enjoy the fight, and remember to subscribe! Muchos gracias and keep punching!
